Summer in the Storm

So this is what it feels like,
summer in the storm
Don’t know if I want more.

Can’t find those words
So I’ll fly like the birds
Freedom in my wings
Only in one verse

Oh the words are like the cages
And the tune so bittersweet
Remember me across the sea
I’m sorry if it didn’t impact me

There’s only so much at play
I don’t what to say
Probably won’t make my day
But I’ll try it anyway

Now the words are like the captives
And the tune is without me
Don’t remember me
Cause it didn’t impact me
